You know you’re a bit of a tech geek when you do a happy dance when a particular email hits your inbox from Google about G Suite – and that was me.
What was that email you ask?
It was the congratulations and confirmation that Encore Admin Consulting is now a G Suite Reselling Services Partner. This certification has been a five-month-long process for me which required me to gain specialised certifications as well as work my way through the various checks that were required by Google to allow my membership into the program.
What is G Suite?
G Suite encompasses business email, video conferencing, online storage and file sharing. It includes the popular Gmail, Google Docs and Google Sheets. G Suite’s functionality is geared to collaborative working which is fantastic for small businesses whose teams are working virtually and require cloud-based applications and files. Google’s office suite has been gaining widespread adoption amongst small and mid-sized businesses both within Australia and around the world. It’s simple to use and an ever-developing solution for small business owners wanting to gain and maintain control of administrative and systemised functions within their businesses.
What does being a G Suite Reselling Partner mean?
A G Suite Reseller is a part of the Google Cloud Partner Program which is designed to provide Google Cloud customers with qualified partners who have demonstrated technical proficiency and proven success in specialized solution and service areas. To achieve the Google Cloud Partner status, as described earlier, Encore Admin Consulting has shown its ability to help customers migrate to and successfully deploy the G Suite family of solutions for fellow small businesses.
It also means Encore Admin Consulting is listed within the Google Cloud Partners Directory and you will see that that puts Encore Admin Consulting alongside large IT deployment organisations. I am rather proud of this as I would like to service small businesses who would prefer to deal with a small business owner who understands the administrative needs of small businesses who aren’t in the large IT support needs space.
What does this mean for Encore Admin and our clients?
This is a very exciting addition for Encore Admin Consulting. It means that Encore Admin is now able to provide G Suite subscriptions and management to clients – therefore strengthening my ability to provide specialised G Suite support.
